Otedama

J is going to a disco-swim birthday party tonight. The celebrating friend has already received a schoolbag, make-up pouch and pencil case before. It's becoming harder to fabricate original handmade presents. Then we found this juggling game via Pinterest. A very old game, also called five stones. Ikatbag provides a tutorial and you'll find a youtube film showing the game. I closed the bags by hand instead of using the machine. Together with Carla Sonheim's book Drawing lab, this should make a nice present. For the more complex Japanese variety of these bags you can look here.
